Low-temperature sterilization of heat sensitive items is made easy and quick by Sterrad H2O2 sterilizers. In contrast to the long cycle times of conventional methods using ethylene oxide or formaldehyde, a Sterrad system cycle just takes 70 minutes!
And cycle temperature can be as low as 45°C. After completion of the cycle, the goods sterilized can be removed and immediately used again; they are free of any residual matter. The Sterrad method allows a set of instruments to be used much more often than gas processing methods.
Regarding investment costs, it is highly cost-effective, as less sets of instruments are needed, time is saved, and installation requires no more than a high-voltage socket. The operation of the Sterrad sterilizer is much easier than the operation of conventional low-temperature sterilizers.
The personnel does not need any training that proves their expert knowledge to operate a Sterrad machine. The automatic cassette system for the supply of the agent and the simple and clear keypad make for a comfortable and easy operation.
The Sterrad technology is available in the
following machine sizes:
Sterrad 50: chamber volume 50 litres (cylindric chamber)
Sterrad 100: chamber volume 80 litres (cylindric chamber)
Sterrad 200: rectangle chamber with 1 or 2 doors. The 2-door version is a through-loading sterilizer and can be integrated into a row of MMM steam sterilizers.
