The ultrasonic cleaning of surgical and microsurgical instruments is universally accepted as both an independent cleaning method and as preliminary step before further automated cleaning.
Even dried soils are safely and completely removed. Owing to the use of a combined cleaning and disinfecting agent deliverable by MMM (manufactured by Chemische Fabrik Dr.Weigert), the system not only ensures the effective cleaning of the instruments but also their disinfection.
Ultrasound both increases the disinfecting effect and reduces the process time.
Sensitive micro-surgical instruments are treated mildly in an ultrasonic bath
(type Sonorex / manufactured by Bandelin). The preservation of instruments helps to reduce costs.
