Excellent innovation work: Münchener Medizin Mechanik GmbH from Planegg near Munich has convinced the 29th round of the TOP 100 competition as a think tank. It has been awarded the TOP 100 2022 seal of approval. Only particularly innovative companies from the SME sector are awarded this distinction. On June 24, the MMM Group will additionally be honored personally for these achievements by the competition’s mentor, science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar.
The core of the TOP 100 innovation competition is a scientific selection process that participants have to go through. On behalf of compamedia, the organizer of the competition, the innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke and his team examined the MMM Group on the basis of more than 100 innovation indicators from five categories: Top Management Promoting Innovation, Innovation Climate, Innovative Processes and Organization, External Orientation/Open Innovation and Innovation Success. In principle, the TOP 100 analysis is concerned with the question of whether a company’s innovations are just a product of chance or are systematically planned and thus repeatable in the future. Special weighting is given to the question of whether and how innovations and product improvements succeed on the market (further information on the test criteria can be found at www.top100.de/pruefkriterien).
MMM Group is among the TOP 100 innovators for the 5th time. The company is based in the medical technology sector and has made a name for itself in particular in the field of sterile processing. With a complete range of products and services around sterilization and disinfection systems for hospitals, scientific institutes, laboratories and the pharmaceutical industry, the MMM Group is a decisive quality and innovation leader in the field of sterile processing worldwide. As a complete solutions provider, the MMM Group has been ensuring for more than 65 years that the most important human asset – health – is protected with state-of-the-art technologies.
There will be a second good reason for celebration on June 24, when all TOP 100 innovators 2022 will gather in Frankfurt am Main for the awards ceremony at the German SME Summit to receive congratulations from Ranga Yogeshwar. The science journalist has been mentoring the innovation competition for eleven years.
